Luke Leavitt /piano & Bat Mob (Steel and Stone)
Luke Leavitt is a composer, improviser and geographer based in Denver, CO. A versatile pianist rooted in jazz, Luke draws on several styles to explore the resonances between dreaming, place, politics and the body. Of Extra-Human Feelings – his latest collaboration with Ari Smith (bass) and Tim Russell (Drums) – was just released on Through Mediums (Madison, WI).
