David Lord:
Guitarist and composer David Lord has developed a singular approach to composition and improvisation. His music has been featured in publications such as Downbeat, Dusted Magazine, A Closer Listen, All About Jazz Under the Radar, Aquarium Drunkard, Bandcamp Daily, Pop Matters, Alternative Press, Magnet, and Tiny Mix Tapes.
Lord has released music on Astral Spirits and BIG EGO Records and has collaborated with Jeff Parker, Chad Taylor, Devin Hoff, Billy Mohler, Charles Rumback, Dave Easley, Christine Tavalocci, Nathan Hubbard, David Tranchina, Alex Sadnik, and others.
Lord has released four albums as a bandleader - Forest Standards Vol. 1-4, all recorded at BIG EGO studios in Long Beach, CA with Chris Schlarb.
