ARTIST STATEMENTS:

ERIC SARRACINO

As an artist, I wear many hats. Sign painter, muralist, caricature artist, fine art painter and carpenter. I am currently enrolled in the school of hard knocks. I will show works never seen before. Recorded during a dark period of my life which has chiseled me to the artist extraordinaire I am today.

SVEN UPSONS

I seek out subject matter that I render in water color and pencil in the open-air/plain-air. The challenge of determining and focusing on a subject, and capturing it with marks and color on paper, all while I’m in a nature- or human-made setting (or a combination of these two), is energizing but also meditative to me. I hope to finish with something that has an energy and immediacy of the hour or so that I’ve just spent.
