About the event
Project BC is an Indigenous metal band from Albuquerque, New Mexico, formed in 2018. Their debut single, One Last Time (2019), tackled themes of resilience after domestic violence. Though the pandemic disrupted plans for playing live shows, the band used the time to write and regroup, returning in 2021 to play a celebratory show for their debut EP, Dance of the Lycans, featuring the single Show Me What You Got. After their brief hiatus from playing live shows, due to health issues, Project BC came back strong in 2023 with tour plans and with the release of their second EP, Black, earning new fans and radio features on Rez-olution Radio, KUNM, KMHA, Alien X Radio, Tunes from Turtle Island Podcast, and Overdrive KYAY.
